happen, summer is not the season for Key Clubber laziness, it is actually the opposite. If you don’t have any ideas talk to your Kiwanis clubs I am sure that they would love to help, and even if you don’t end up serving, it’s always okay to bond. Plan a trip to the pool or beach, do something cool with your fellow Key Clubbers. And please invited incoming freshman, they are the future of Key Club, and just because they haven’t paid their dues doesn’t mean they can’t participate in service or bonding. Inviting them to these events is a sure way to increase your number of members. Don’t forget! Secretary reports are still due over the summer and we will still be having mandatory division council meetings during the summer. Key Club does not die just because it is getting warm. But we will still have an insane amount of fun while the warm weather lasts. Kiwanis Family

Seniors! You shall all be truly missed, but the time has come for you to leave us. And even though we are sad that you all we be away I’m sure that you’re all very happy to be finally done with high school. Sadly, that means that you are also done with Key Club. Wait! Not really… You have options. If you are going to college you can join the college version of Key Club called Circle K International. It is exactly like Key Club, you get to meet awesome new people and you get the chance to give back to your community and slowly make the world a better place. But of course there will be more parties. And if college isn’t your thing, don’t fret, you can join Kiwanis early, they will accept you with open arms because they love having new enthusiastic members like yourself. So don’t be discouraged because you may have had your last Key Club meeting. Be excited about the other K-Family clubs that you can join now that you’re out of high school.

I would love to know what your clubs are up to! So on the 5th of every month starting in July I have asked each clubs bulletin editor to let me know about past, present and future project that there club has been working on. Please email it to me by the 5th so that I can let all of the clubs know about the amazing things that are going on in our division. The next divisional council meeting is on June 16th at 5:30PM, Olympia Regional Library. Let me know if you can make it and please encourage club members to attend. It is fun, and it really gets us thinking and coming up with some really awesome ideas that we may never have thought up of on our own.
