Historic Kennett Square Proudly Presents Weekend of the Arts
Weekend of the Arts will be held in the Genesis HealthCare Corporate Headquarters at 101 E. State Street:
• Friday, June 7th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday, June 8th, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sunday, June 9th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The entrance to Genesis is off the walkway that runs from the E. Linden Street municipal parking garage to State Street. Artists will be donating a portion of their sales from the weekend to Historic Kennett Square, whose mission is to promote, encourage, and enhance the economic, community, and social vitality of the Kennett area for the benefit of its residents, businesses, and visitors.
www.historickennettsquare.com
This year our invited artists will be creating one individual 12-inch by 12-inch work of art for our collector’s wall. Each work will be priced at $200. This is an opportunity for new and seasoned art enthusiasts to begin or add to their art collection.

Welcome to Historic Kennett Square’s Weekend of the Arts.Artists have always found Kennett Square to be an inspiring, nurturing, and creative place. Through Weekend of the Arts, Historic Kennett Square is proud to support artists and also to enrich our community by offering a diverse showcase of work for the public to experience.
Building on the success of our Evening of the Arts events over the past several years, we’re delighted to expand this invitational art exhibit to a full weekend celebrating the arts in downtown Kennett Square. Enjoy the work of 50 local and regional artists across all mediums, as well as gallery and studio openings and special arts events around town throughout the weekend. On Sunday, Kennett Square welcomes the curated outdoor Clover Market, featuring antiques and handmade and vintage goods.
We’re grateful to Genesis HealthCare for hosting Weekend of the Arts in its beautiful corporate headquarters and appreciate its ongoing support of the many programs Historic Kennett Square offers to keep Kennett Square economically and culturally vibrant.
Weekend of the Arts would not be possible without the guidance, expertise, and support of John Baker, Professor Emeritus, Department of Art & Design, West Chester University, and Corien Siepelinga, chair of the Historic Kennett Square Arts Committee and owner of Square Pear Gallery.
Thank you for supporting the arts and artists in Kennett Square.
Mary Hutchins, Executive Director of Historic Kennett Square
