The Trustees met for breakfast at the Wyoming Union at 8 o'clock

I Monday morning, June 5th, with several guests among whom were President

Jeffers of the Union Pacific, Admiral Land and General Brees.

The executive session of the Board was called to order by President

Bond at 9 o'clock with the following members present: Mr. D.P.B. Marshall, Roll /la.1I

Mr. V.J. Facinelli, Mrs. Harriett T. Grieve, Mrs. Evelyn S. Plummer, Mr.

Frank A. Barrett, Mr. Peter Sill, Mr. Milward Simpson, and Dr. A.G. Crane.

Plans and arrangements for the meeting were discussed. President Crane

then submitted a list of degrees and diplolll2.s recommended by the faculty.

1:1 Upon the motion of Mr. Marshall, the Trustees voted to award the following

degrees and diplomas. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Grieve and carried.

The executive session was again called tp order at 9 o'clock a.ro.,

Tuesday, June 6th. President Crane informed the Board that the County Cam-

missioners of Albany County ~~shed to establish a public road on the west

boundary of the University stock farm. They desire a strip of land 40 1

'Nide. Upon the motion of Mr. Facinelli, University authorities were

authorized to continue negotiations witn the commissioners in accordance

witn toe President's report which provides that the University will be re-

imbursed for money already expended on this strip of landj namely, moving

an irrigation ditch, re-1ocation of the fence, construction of a bridge,

and conditioning of the land. The motion was seconded by Mr. Barrett and

That the Joint Retirement Committee be instructed to deviseand present to the Trustees a plan for a retirement system.

That tne Committee be authorized to secure assistance ofinsurance experts in formulation of plans.

That Committee be authorized to secure offers and terms forparticipation in plan from standard life insurance companies.

That tne Trustees continue the services of the employees inClass A under such terms as the Trustees may wish in each

>class, prOVided, however, that the follo\ting clause be in­serted in the contracts with employees in Glass A:
