WDS 2012

The Olympics games were the chosen theme to celebrate the World Day of Spirometry 2012. Portugal wanted to be part and, trough Portuguese Society of Pulmonology, organized a campaign to draw attention to the breathing problems, promote the sports practice and its importance for a better life quality. This internationally campaign was integrated in WSD 2012, organized by the European Lung Foundation and the Forum of International Respiratory Societies, who chose the Olympics games for theme, showing the connection between lung health and sports.
