It’s time to get out to the field and fly. The Mammoth Park workers are doing a great job with the grass cutting at the field. Thank You!!! All those planes you’ve built or bought over the winter and spring need their exercise. If you haven’t flown for a while and need a refresher to get back in the air just give myself, Jim Zamerski, or Rene a call. We have electric and glow planes on buddy boxes to get you safely back in the air. As always, we are available to train new pilots also. Radio Control Modeling is a great outdoor sport for people of all ages. One of our long time members, Vaun Hile, has graciously donated his planes and equipment to the Club. As we sort through them and clean them we will be bringing them to the field. If there is something that interests you just make a donation to the Club in Vaun’s name and it is yours. Thank you Vaun.

Officers Report:Secretary, Jim Z. Called for a motion to approve the minutes of the May meeting as published in the May newsletter. Motion by Bill C, second by Jim P ...motion carried.Treasurer’s Report.Expenses – Night Fly and Float Fly permits, Doughnuts, Secretary expense, St Pauls Church, GoDaddy acount, Fuel purchases, Heartland Hospice donation in memory of Joan Marshall (John’s wife).Income –Dues, Fuel sales. Motion to approve by Jim Z, Second by John.….. motion carried Roster has been updated and emailed out to members. See Rene if you would like a hard copy. Vice President Raffle prize will be a laser cut Sig Somethin’ Extra which was donated by Vaun Hile.Newsletter Editor, Keep Jim Z posted on new events and items for sale or free items. Sunday June 6 soft opening day fun flyClean up day (May 29) Thanks to Jim Z, Bill C., Fred, & Josh. AND Thanks to Pres JimElectricity to the Field. We may have a window of possibility with new moneys available in the county park system to do this. We will be discussing this further as we get more information. Stay tuned.Pizza Tonight!!!Vaun Hile Long time member, Vaun Hile has been confined to an assistant living facility, is unable to fly, and decided to donate his planes to LHMAC. Jim A, Jim Z, and Fred Snyder went out to his house and emptied his workshop…...actually it was a separate building with a mini fridge, TV, heater, recliner, bathroom…..AKA, the perfect set up! The planes will be available to club members, if you wish, to make a donation to the club in Vaun’s name. See Rene for donations. On another note, If YOU have anything in your “hanger” that you are not flying and see a new member who may get use out of it, pass it on.
