Happy Summer everyone! The weather has been warming up to allow for some time to enjoy some gardening and relax on our new patio furniture.
Thank you for your continued patience as we await approval to hire some key folks on our team. In the meantime please pass on warm fuzzy’s to
those staff who are covering multiple positions at one time.
Please also join me in wishing Rachel Breithaupt Happy Trails as she moves on to another posi-tion in the community. Rachel is our beloved Social Worker, and the staff and residents will miss her tremendously. We plan to have Rachel come back to visit us and hope to keep her looped into our activity schedule.
Thank you all for your testimony and participation in the public hearing process related to the rate increases. We re-main in limbo on the State budget so have nothing new to report but I know your feed-back and concerns were received and we appreciate your participation in the process.
On a happy note the preschool kiddos worked so hard to decorate the great room for their graduation night and their ceremo-ny was a huge success. We miss their ener-gy and laughter already but will look for-ward to seeing them in the Fall.
I will be out of the office for a couple of weeks this month so please reach out to Sue Mickelson or Roni Thomas if you need any assistance.

From sipping on Mocktails to honoring our beloved Mothers, we had a magnificent
month of MAY. Approximately 12 families came out on Saturday, May 11th and enjoyed a
delicious Breakfast Buffet with their moms. Every Monday, Ms. Arlene blended up re-
freshing drinks during our Mocktail “Happy Hour”. The beautiful May sunshine gave
opportunities to work on gardening as well as down time to relax on our new patio furni-
ture. We added 3rd floor BINGO nights on 2nd & 4th Sundays that seemed to be an add-
ed BINGO bonus and participated with various pre-school events such as the Talent
Show Tea Party, Science Fair and Pre-K Graduation. Summer is just around the corner
and we are so looking forward to more outdoor activities to share with each other. Hope
you will join us!
