I thank the brothers of Mu Lambda for an excellent fraternal year. Your work and dedication has been second to none.This fraternal year was a building block for 2014-2015. In 2014/2015 we are committing to have a good social year, but recognize we must do community service. While there will several social events – we will conduct two/three community service projects for every social event. We will do a full court press with reclaiming our brothers who are no longer in the house of Alpha. We will expand our base of corporate partners. My brothers have shown me that no matter how difficult or depressing the situation, no adversity is too much for Mu Lambda to overcome. I will see you at the Saturday, June 7th following:

The Mu Lambda Foundation would like to adopt a forward thinking “Pay-It-Forward” plan for the next two fraternal calendar years (2015 and 2016). Our hope is that brothers in the chapter, not to exceed 25 in number, will advance the Foundation and the Chapter two years of tax-deductible dues and ticket purchases totaling $2500. This advance will allow the Foundation to allocate funds to repair and upgrade our most valuable asset, the Mu Lambda House. Specifically, this money will help us waterproof the basement; finish the installation of the sprinkler system; and repair/upgrade many of the windows and doors in the house.

In addition to the much needed upgrades and improvements to the Mu Lambda House, this money will also serve as a financial base upon which the Foundation will support its current activities. Further, the funds will allow the launch of a new signature event that the Board of Directors expect will augment the social calendar of the metropolitan area and provide a significant financial boost to the funds available to the foundation to advance its goals.
