• File & folder backup: Available in Windows XP Pro, and in all versions of Vista, 7 & 8, can be installed from system discs for XP Home.
• System Image: Available in Window XP Pro, called “Automatic System Recovery Backup”, in Vista Business, Enterprise & Ultimate, called “Complete PC Backup”, and in all versions of Windows 7 as “System Image”. In Win 8 it’s available under “Windows 7 file recovery”.
• File History: In Windows 8, saves files in libraries, desktop, contacts & favorites, backing up changes frequently (e.g. hourly).

• Windows Vista Home and XP Home – run file backup, full or incremental.
• Windows XP Pro, Vista Business, Enterprise & Ultimate and all versions of Windows 7 - schedule file backup daily or weekly, backups after the first are incremental; create a system image at same time or monthly or quarterly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVif-1g7CB4
• Windows 8 – Backup with file history daily or as frequently as every 10 minutes, and make a system image every month or two.

• Run file backup: – XP: All Programs, Accessories, System Tools,
Backup, Backup or Restore Wizard, Backup files and settings, My Documents and Settings, Type, Destination and Name, under Advanced, specify Normal or Incremental, Finish.
– Vista: Control Panel, Backup and Restore Center, Backup Files, Set up automatic File Backup, select destination, files to backup, and how often.

• To disable the Toolbar in Internet Explorer:– Go to your Tools menu and select Internet
Options.– Within the Programs, click on the Manage Add-
Ons.– Select the Toolbar and then click Disable.
• If you want to disable the Toolbar in FireFox: – Go to your Tools menu and Select Add-Ons.– Select and highlight the Toolbar. – Click the Disable button.

• If you have the Windows XP operating system:– Go to the Start Menu and select Control Panel.– Click the Add or Remove Programs icon.– Select the Toolbar, then click on the Remove or
Change/Remove.

• If you cannot delete the toolbar in add/remove programs:– Install & run Malwarebytes Anti-malware.– Install & run Comodo Cleaning Essentials..
• If all else fails:– Install “Hijack This” and create a log.– Post log on Bleeping Computer to get help identifying
items to delete as HTJ does not discriminate between good & bad software.
– Malwarebytes forum lists “Other groups authorized to help with HTJ logs”, if needed.

• In Internet Explorer– select "Tools" , "Internet Options“, "General" tab– Under Search, click "Settings".– Select search engine and click Remove button.
• In Firefox:– Click icon to left of search engine name and
select “Manage Search Engines”.– Select search engine & click Remove button.
