June 1-5, l’Escala (Girona), Spain CoDaWork’15 is the 6th International Workshop on Compositional Data Analysis and will be held on 1-5 June 2015 in L’Escala (Costa Brava), Spain. The workshop is a forum of discussion of theory and applications of the statistical analysis of Compositional Data. June 1st will be devoted to an introductory couse to theoretical and practical aspects of the statistical analysis of compositional data. The workshop will run from 2-5 June and will featu- re a number of distinguished keynote speakers, invited and contributed sessions and poster discussions. There will be no parallel sessions. We would like to invite you to contribute to the success of the conference by giving either an oral (about 20 minutes length) or a poster presentation in one of the themed conference sessions. Contributions can consist of review papers, state of the art advances in scientific research, overview and introductory papers, presentation of an area of expertise to the uninitiated or communication of best practice and practitioner experience. Session topics include but are not limited to the following areas: General theory and methods of analysis of compositions. Pre-processing data tools and zero treatment. Applications to life sciences and medicine, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, economy, official statistics and social sciences, as well as any other field of application whe- re compositions or data from constrained spaces appear. Participants are invited to submit an abstract (between 200-400 words) before December 15, 2014. To submit your abstract go to www.compositionaldata.com and click on Co- DaWork 2015. Notifications of the acceptance of submissions will be sent out no later than January 15, 2015.

The workshop will be held in Hotel Nieves Mar in L’Escala, a

family hotel with a long history just in front of the gulf of Roses.

of Statistics through a peer review process.
