June/July Soccer Cal Cal North Gives $177,000 to its teams attending US Youth Soccer Regional Events! June 28, 2012 (Pleasanton, CA) - The Cal North Board of Directors has announced that in addition to the $56,000 that the Board approved as direct stipends to the players attending Regional Presidents Cup and Far West Regionals, a total of $177,000 in stipends, subsidies and entry fee payments were given to its teams advancing to regional competitions this summer. Region IV Championships Complete Cal North Recap!

Congratulations to all Cal North teams that competed in the US

Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships in Phoenix AZ.

Cal North sent twenty-two teams into the Arizona heat with

eight teams playing their way into semi-final matches. The U14

boys Redwood Juventus Heat, U15 Girls MVLA Mercury Black,

U16 Girls MVLA Lightning, U17 Girls Central Valley Chilipeppers,

and the U17 PAC Tigres from Mt. Hamilton came out victorious

and headed to the Championship game. The U15 Girls Mercury

Black and U16 Girls Lightning brought home the title of Regional

Champions. They will be joined at the US Youth Soccer National

Championships in Rock Hill SC, by the U17 Girls Central Valley

Region IV Presidents Cup Complete Cal North Recap!

Cal North sent twelve teams to participate in US Youth Soccer

Region IV Presidents Cup in Arvada Colorado, doubling the

number of participating teams that participated in the 2011

season. The Cal North Presidents Cup champions in U13-U17s

along with several wild card teams gave a very strong showing
