Pollinator PhotographySummertime is a great opportunity to photograph some of the most colorful insects around. During the lecture portion of the class, we will discuss macro concepts and equipment, and focus on the problems associated with fast moving small subjects. Photography of butterflies and other pollinators will take place in the outdoor gardens. Suggested equipment: DSLR or mirrorless camera, flash with off camera cord (unless your camera is equipped to fire flash wirelessly), macro or close focusing lens. Olbrich Gardens Book ClubJoin the Virtual Book Discussion at Olbrichwith other garden enthusiasts and book lovers to discuss non-fiction and fiction books about gardening, plants, nature and the environment. The Olbrich Gardens Book Club is a book discussion group for readers to come together to discuss a book and share in the reading experience.

The discussions are hosted via Zoom, are free and open to the public. Participants will need to read the selected book, have an internet connection and provide an email address prior to the discussion.

Books are not supplied but a copy may be available in the Schumacher Library for check-out. Olbrich members and volunteers enjoy library lending privileges.
