Have you ever wondered why Mary is so important to our faith
as Catholics? We turn to her in prayer, in the Mass, in the
Rosary, and in Marian devotions. Join us for Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother, an extraordinary study that
reveals Mary’s unique role in God’s Kingdom and in our lives.
Ascension Church will host Mary: a Biblical Walk with the
Blessed Mother bible study beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 18th,
at 10:00am-11:30am and continuing every Tuesday. To register

24th Sunday in Ordinary Time The family of faith can never turn a blind eye to the socioeconomic inequalities of those who are suffering among us. If we belong to Christ, we must always express a special concern for the marginalized. Expressing concern places our faith into practice as the epistle of James reminds us, “Faith without works is dead.” 24to Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario La familia de fe nunca puede cerrar los ojos a las desigualdades socioeconómicas de aquellos que sufren alrededor de nosotros. Si pertenecemos a Cristo, debemos siempre expresar una preocupación especial por los marginados. Expresar preocupación pone nuestra fe en práctica tal como la epístola de Santiago nos recuerda, "La Fe sin trabajo está muerta".
