Ribbon Cutting & Opening CeremonyJuly 21, 2016
Bedford Green was developed by Peabody Properties, Inc., Windover Construction and Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. through the VA’s Enhanced Use Lease initiative using approximately four acres of underutilized land on the Campus of Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (Bedford VA). Bedford Green provides 69, one-bedroom units of permanent, supportive housing with priority occupancy for homeless and at-risk Veterans aged 55+. Veterans have an array of supportive services available with on-site VA case managers and direct access to comprehensive medical, clinical and well-being services offered at the Bedford VA.
Bedford Green is the result of a true public, private partnership that utilizes federal and state resources through an unparalleled effort and cooperation by all the partners who are celebrating the Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony today.
