Onkyo India clarifies and requests the public to note that the details of service centres are clearly mentioned in our website and any other establishment claiming to be a service centre is to be considered unauthorised. The company has received a number of cases where the
customers have given their sets to such establishments and have later found their sets stripped of original parts and components.

We are happy to inform that we have recently purchased “ Onkyo”7.2 Channel network AV Receiver. TXNR-809 and Elac 50 series FS-58.2 (7.1 )speakers. Onkyo Team provided us with the required information and couple of demos also. We also wish to inform that before finalizing the Onkyo Home Theatre System, we
did explore a few other brands but we were amused by the kind of detailing given by the Onkyo personnel which helped us to zero on the above said channel network. While we are yet to enjoy the full features of the above said Home Theatre to its full potential, we are rest assured by the team that the AV Receiver is an award winning product in its category. "I was looking to replace my 12 year old ONKYO home theatre receiver DR 20000 and this time I wanted a 7.2 receiver that also had good network support. Support for multiple HDMI inputs, the ability to connect to my Windows network share and access my music content as well as the ability to connect my IPOD. I was also particularly interested in a receiver that supported FLAC and M4A audio playback. I discovered that TX NR616 best suited my needs when it came to technical specifications. Though this particular model had some Power/Display On/OFF issues when it first came out, ONKYO has ensured that all these issues have been addressed with subsequent firmware updates. I have not had any issues with this product from the time I purchased it. I like the fact that I am able to control the receiver using an ONKYO provided Android/IOS app as well as third party apps designed for ONKYO receivers. These apps makes it possible for me to access all the settings of the receiver through my Wifi network.
