There was a heavy cloud passed through this section Saturday night. Some of the older people in this section say that it was the hardest thunder and lightning they have ever known.
A good many of the young folks of this route attended the musical given by Miss Lillian Kirk, a t her home in Roseland, Saturday evening. All that attended report a nice time.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Price Layton of this route, July 4, a daughter.

HOW KING “TUT” IRONEDwould certainly be mighty interesting information to discover— but as we have no source of information dating that far back, it will no doubt be of great interest to users of ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES to compare the o'd flat iron method with the new Universal Round Heel Iron method.
Irons backword and sideways as easily as forward. The round heel and beveled edges cannot wrinkle the cloth on the back stroke.
Gets into the smallest pleats and ruffles of a woman’s daintiest dress with its finely tapered point.
