He also fainted in the middle of the ceremony and the people’s theory was that it was caused by the "falling sickness". But Caesar refuses to say anything to the crowd. Is this a fake act to gain more supporters from the commoners or is he really consider a weak leader? At the scene yesterday, citizens also observed and found out that Cassius’s actions towards Caesar were a bit odd. Result from a interview conducted yesterday, Brutus confessed that, "These growing feathers pluck'd from Caesar's wing will make him fly an ordinary pitch, who else would soar above the view of men and keep us all in servile fearfulness". Flavius also added that he will thin the crowds of commoners because if they can regulate Caesar’s popular support, they will be able to regulate his power. Is Brutus trying to form a triumph to challenge Caesar and try to take over Rome? Cassius plans doesn’t just end there. Citizens had caught Cassius and Brutus, Caesar’s noble friend talking together after the festival. Citizens are predicting that they are forming a triumph against Caesar and everyone is waiting for the upcoming festival at the Capitol on the 15th due to the conspiracy when a soothsayer shouted, “Beware the ides of March”. For the past few days, people are dreaming and seeing terrible things in the natural world. A forge letter from Roman citizens declaring their support for Brutus and their fear of Caesar’s ascent to power were found yesterday near Brutus’s house. Will this hatred and jealously lead to an sad ending? A broken friendship and the falling of Rome? “As much as I love Caesar, I love honor more than I even fear death.” Cassius also added, I was born as free as Caesar, so were you. We both have fed as well, and we can both endure the winter’s cold as well as he.” Is Cassius and the triump doing this for themselves or is he doing this for the sake of Rome... Brutus is being continuisly persuayed by the people around him. Casca comments that the noble Brutus’s participation in their plot will bring worthiness to the group, “He sits high in all the people’s hearts, and that which would appear offence in us. His countenance, like richest alchemy, will change to virtue and to worthiness”.
