Normative framework

Normative framework is the heterosexual matrix where males and females are born out of there mothers wombs and because of there sexual organs are specifically trained to walk, talk, act certain rituals and activities that the ideal masculine man and the ideal feminine women should take on to procreate.

Feminism and subversion of identity

Butler 2 critical point was that both gender and sex are social constructions

Butler argument

• If one is a women, that is surely not all that one is, the term fails to be exhaustive because gender intersects with racial, class, ethnic, sexuality and regional modality of discursively constituted identities.
