May we delight in God’s creativity in nature, in the different landscapes we will encounter, in our gardening and outdoor activities, as we are camping or at the cottage or at home, and as we spend time with family and friends and neighbours. HAPPENINGS

Eastview Library

We can be encouraged, motivated, inspired, challenged, taught, convicted and yes, even entertained by books. And what better place to find these books than in the Eastview Community Church Library. The purpose of the Eastview Community Church Library is to provide resources that will help “Lead people to Christ and on to maturity in Him”. This includes books, audio books, fiction books, non–fiction books, books for kids of all ages, a few videos for families, many videos for kids, and resources for care groups and life development. We recognize that there needs to be a wide variety of books to satisfy many different interests and the different places we’re at in our walk with God. Our goal is to get the right book to the right person at the right time and expect that God will use it to further His kingdom. Summer Library Hours: Between services for the month of June Before and after the service July 2 – August 6 Between services August 13 – September 3 Regular hours commence Sept 10 (before, between, and after services) The Library Team consists of Jean Friesen, Colleen Bergen, Lis Schmidt, Irene Wiebe, Trish Petkau, Jenna LeClair, and Julie Hiebert. We consider it a privilege to serve the Lord in this ministry. Please feel free to share your ideas and suggestions with any of us. “May the meditations of our hearts (this summer) be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord my Strength and my Redeemer” A paraphrase of Psalm 19:14
