About
All the metal items offered
here are handmade in Haiti, in
partnership with Three Stone
Steps.
These metal products begin as
old, used oil drums. After the
drum is cleaned, artisans use
a hammer and a few chisels to
create the designs you see.
These pieces can be used inside
or out.
Care: Although the pieces are
coated, they can still rust. Treat
with a spray clear coat.

DREIDELS
This dreidels are handmade by
two different cooperatives in the
Philippines. They are exclusive
designs.
The paper dreidel is made from
used magazines over material
from an upcycled cardboard box.
The handle is rolled paper.
As the name implies, the coir
dreidel is made from coir, also
called cocofiber, placed over a
wire frame. The handle is crafted
from a local reed.
And, yes, they do spin! However,
they don’t spin well enough to
play rounds of dreidel. They
spin symbolically. Overall, it’s
best to think of these pieces as
decorative.
