It started as many good ideas do, with a conversation among colleagues. The discussion sparkled with enthusiasm and a dazzling idea soon followed.

Inspired by the best selling book, Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg, today’s event seeks to localize a national discussion.

Today, you will hear from an accomplished group of women serving as extraordinary local community leaders. They have come together to share their

stories, and encourage you to actively engage in leadership. This afternoon, you will become part of a conversation designed to facilitate an authentic

understanding of the successes, challenges, and defining moment’s women face when they lean in to leadership.

Our goal is to inspire and empower you, as you work to become the next generation of Jacksonville’s extraordinary women who lead.
