I hail from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, a rst class city in the province of Laguna, Philippines. Because of the various business structures situated all over the area, it had countless labels attached to its name such as The Investment apital of South Lu!on as "ell as the #etroit of the Philippines. It "as mostly $no"n for the oca% ola and T oyota manufacturing plants in its industrial estates. &ore recently, it has also become famous for 'nchanted (ingdom, one of the most famous local theme par$s in the Philippines, as "ell as several housing developments. I)ve been in Sta. Rosa since I "as t"o years old. Transferring here from &anila "as one the best decisions my parents has ever made. There is something "ith the fresh air, $ind neighbors, trees, "arm smiles of the locals, and the suburban life that made them decide to stay for good. I gre" up here until college, "here I had to move to the city alone. In bet"een summer brea$s, I al"ays come bac$ to visit. #espite its provincial nature and simplicity, Sta. Rosa Laguna is home to thrilling family and tourists attractions. *side from the theme par$, commercial centers li$e +uvali, Solenad and Paseo are havens of ne dining outlets, bars and cafs, retail shops and many factory outlets of famous local and international brands li$e +i$e, *didas, &ango, Timberland, Samsonite. -ide open spaces and landscaped gardens, poc$et par$s, central areas and a %hectare multi%functional la$e accommodate fun time and outdoor activities such as frisbee, /ogging paths, lei sure bi$ing, boat0sh feeding, tai%chi0yoga, picnic, "a$eboarding, etc. +ot to mention they also o1er "ildlife 2 bird sanctuaries. I)ve travelled to a lot of places, seen a lot of attractions, tasted a lot of delicacies in both local and foreign territories but there is nothing else 3uite li$e Sta. Rosa Laguna. It may have h ad countless titles attached to its name but there is nothing else more tting of a title but the place I "ill al"ays call home.
