Lubrication Management & Material DispensingSound lubrication management and material dispensing practice eliminates problems such as contamination of materials which in itself is a prime cause of premature parts failure or production problems.

The new SKF Lincoln brand PMV pumps excel in applications that range from the transfer of light fluids such as oils, solvents & adhesives, medium-viscosity materials such as RTV silicone, greases, plastisols, & inks, through to very heavy-viscosity materials such as ink flushes, epoxies & mastics. Having exceptional performance, long service life and low maintenance. The SKF Lincoln brand PMV pumps unique, modular design includes only five moving parts, providing a longer life, & making it easier to service in the field.

The PMV pump can be utilised in all in three formats of material dispensing: Transfer, Measure and Flow - to meet the requirements of a number of demanding industries that require time-proven systems for application of their materials in manufacturing

The SKF Lincoln brand High Pressure 50:1 PMV Pumps are not only brand used in the dispensing of medium to high viscosity materials they are also used in Lincoln CentroMatic or Quicklub lubrication systems in both fixed and mobile equipment and are designed to fit 20kg, 60kg and 180kg grease drums. The 50:1 grease pump can supply grease to the lubrication system at pressures up to 517bar, where lower pressures and greater flow is required the 25:1 pump is recommended. The PMV range also covers the full oil dispensing requirement.

Power Master III-based air logic packaged in one-piece, modular assembly:

� Runs with/without external lubrication � No springs, rods or other mechanical

connections to wear out � Operates in wet and contaminated air

Air cylinder and piston designed for:

� One-piece air cylinder contains all ports and

passages for solid construction; eliminates leak paths

� One-piece piston with single O-ring sealing and no mechanical connection to springs, spools or poppets provides increased service life and dependability

New Outlet Body Casting

� Stronger & more resilient in all critical areas

� All new PMV grease & oil pumps have this upgraded casting

� Prevents leaks & pump tube separation under high pressure

New Copper Gasket between Outlet Casting & Pump tube

� Standard on all PMV grease pumps, 5:1 & 10:1 PMV oil pumps

� Not used on 6:1 PMV pumps with external casting threads.

� Located between pump tube & casting

� Replaces O-Ring seal located at the bottom of the pump tube threads

on the previous versions

� Supports new stronger casting by preventing extreme pressure from

reaching the critical thread areas

� Provides added level of protection against pump tube separation

� Prevents damage due to supply line

� Blocks supply line back pressure from pump outlet

Utilising SKF's worldwide engineering resources, the original 2007 Lincoln designed PMV pumps have gone through a rigorous technical upgrade over the past 24 month to ensure long term reliability & durability. Building on this new engineered design still utilising the PowerMaster III air logic, SKF Lincoln can now provide one of the most technically advanced, long lasting & dependable service pumps available. Currently there are over 2500 PMV pumps in service in the USA market performing to expectation.

Lincoln’s PMV runaway controller is the first of its kind for lubrication service class pumps. Compatible with new and existing Lincoln PMV pumps, the controller shuts off the pump and signals an alarm if the pump exceeds a preset cycle rate.

2. Followers

A follower plate is recommended when pumping lubricants that will not seek their own level. The follower keeps contamination from entering the product and also assists in preventing product cavitation.
