Event description
• NSAPFT- Each team member will be evaluated physically by taking the NSAPFT, 2 minutes of push-ups and 2
minutes of sit-ups, then a 1 mile run in ACUs/Boots. All team members will be evaluated at the same time.
• 10k Ruck March- The 10k route will begin at the horse stables and will be a 6.2 mile cross-country loop over
rough terrain with one ruck sack (supplied by team) filled with all One-rope bridge equipment. If any team
member is unable to finish, the team will be disqualified from that event only.
• One Rope Bridge- Rope bridges will be constructed to standard. The one rope bridge must be done as
seriously and accurately as if a gorge or a river were actually being crossed. All eight members of the team
must compete and complete the bridge construction and crossing.
• PECs (Physical Endurance Course)- Teams must negotiate obstacles and stations that will test their
endurance, knowledge, accuracy, and physical fitness. Teams will be grouped with 2 to 3 teams for walk thru
and explanation of events and will then negotiate the course at staggered intervals. The fastest time will win.
• Litter Carry- Eight person teams divided into two sub-teams of four. First sub-team will run around track
(400m) with a litter and 120lbs dummy, ruck sack with one-rope bridge equipment, and three rucks (35lbs), per
four cadet sub-team. After the first sub-team completes the track the second team will complete the loop with
the equipment. The entire team then completes a total of 80 pull-ups, performing one pull-up at a time. Time
ends after last pull-up is complete.
• GAUNTLET- All eight team members will move over medium terrain, carrying three (35lbs) rucksacks and ruck
sack with one-rope bridge equipment and then return to the start line. The course will be a two mile loop, cross-
country, over rough terrain.
• ULTIMATE RAIDER BUDDY RUN- This competition will be strictly a 2-person event among the most elite
individual cadets attending the competition from each team. The scores are not included into team awards.
The fastest time will be awarded individual medals. Only first place will be recognized. The course will be
roughly 1.5 miles in length, ¾ mile out and ¾ mile back, cross country, and over rough terrain.
