description

I traveled to Germany and London last year. Along the way, I made some drawings of people I passed by or encountered in the journey. It's my travel diary.

This girl is one of my roommates in Berlin. She is Maru from Argentina.

She likes to write sweet and bitter stories, and I like to draw. So we kind of agree to do a project together. I don’t know how it will work out, but I know it'd be fun.

It's such a pleasure to meet her.

This is Anne. She is also one of my roommates.

We went to Mauerparkt Flohmarkt together. She bought a Polaroid instant film camera there.

I wonder what her first Polaroid photo will be?

This is Philippa. Another roommate of mine in Berlin.

She is an artist and got her inspiration from Berlin Wall.

So looking forward to her final work!

A girl I saw in Mauerparkt Flohmarket.

Short hair, thick eyebrows, eye liners, red lipstick, all in black.

That is the style I like.

This is Tim.A staff at the Generator Hostel, Berlin.

He is an Australian.

We secretly got free tokens from him for drinks.

The best man ever.

I called him the ‘tried hard guy.’

We met at the bar in the Generator Hostel. He bought a drink for me. But talked boring stuffs.

I met him again on the day I was leaving and he was leaving too. We hugged each other and waved goodbye.

Eventually, I think he is just a nice guy. I guess.

Girl in the tube in London.

Listening to music with a headphone. She sighed and left the train.

I wonder what music she was listening to.

I saw him on my friend Emma's graduation day.Me and my friends were in the overground, and he seated across to us.

My friends were tired after the graduation ceremony, and they all fell asleep.

He saw the scene and laughed. No, not really like a laugh, but more like a shyly smile. Later, our eyes met and we gave each other a shyly smile.

I guess, sometimes, because of little things, we do share magic moments with strangers.

Yesterday, I mentioned that my friends were all sleeping in the overground.

Here is a sketch of the scene. Maybe you'll also get a smile while seeing this.

I saw this person in the tube in London. Our seats were just across each other.

I couldn't tell if he was looking at me because of the sunglasses. He stayed silent and emotionless through the whole journey.

My thought of him was 'cool is essential, wear a sunglasses no matter what.'

Girl I saw in Camden Town, London.

I was in a bar next to a canal waiting for a friend, and this girl passed by.

Her hexagon sunglasses caught my attention right away, and her shaved hair suits her style perfectly in every way.

This is London. Difference is great.

My friend and I saw this love birds in Regent's park around 5-6 pm.

And that was pretty heated out there on the bench.

I guess that's their way to handle the cold winds in the evening, while I'd go home and have hot chocolate with marshmallows.
