Rescue is one of our buzzwords around Joyce Meyer Ministries. That is the heart of what we do. It’s what mo-tivates us every day. We want to help people...as many people as we can...in whatever way we can. And there are so many who need help every day.

Natural disasters occur almost on a regular basis...and when they do, we help clean up and rebuild.

Malnutrition and starvation happen all over the world...and we take nutritious food and other supplies, setting up feeding programs and distribution centers.

Medical care is almost nonexistent in some countries...so our medical missions teams go and treat many illnesses that some of us might even consider minor ones.

The horror of human traf� cking is being exposed more and more in the United States as well as all over the world! And we have helped many break free by building homes where these young women and children can live in safety while they make the transition to a better life.

The disciples didn’t believe it?! But Jesus had told them over and over again that He would be cruci-fied and raised again on the third day… You see, the disciples had faith in Jesus; they knew He was the Messiah. But they didn’t believe He was going to do what He said He would do. It’s just like many Christians today. They have faith in God, but they don’t believe the promises of God—what He tells us in His Word.

Is there a difference between faith and believing? In some ways there doesn’t seem to be much difference. We see the words faith and believing used inter-changeably. I think faith is more a force that comes out of your spirit. It’s a gift from God. But I think believing—choosing to believe mentally or to agree with God—is one of those things that unleashes the force of faith we have in God.

When you were a child you had no problem believing. But isn’t it interesting that the more mature we get and the smarter we think we get, the less we are able to believe. However, our unbelief can cause us to miss out on the very things God has planned for us. If you want to immediately improve the quality of your life, here are five things you absolutely must believe.

1. Believe that it’s possible to do anything that God commands you to do. If he tells you to forgive those who hurt you, don’t say it’s too hard. No matter how bad you’ve been hurt, you can forgive them. You can resist temptation of any kind. If God tells you to love people, then you can love all people.

2. Believe that God can change anyone and any circumstance. Don’t look at your children or your spouse and say, “You’re never going to change.” We’d be in a mess if God gave up on people as quick as we do. Before you give up on somebody, you better ask God if He’s given up on them.

3. Believe that God can work good out of any mistake you’ve made or situation you’re in. I can’t even begin to tell you all the different kinds of jobs I had before I began teaching God’s Word. I’ve been a bookkeeper, a waitress, an office manager. And some of the places were hard places to be. Looking back I realize now that I learned in those places how to treat people. When you’re somewhere just believe: God if this is where I’m at, there is a purpose, and I believe that some way You will work this out for my good.

4. Always believe the best of every person. I know this gets hard when we see the things that people do, but it’s still a choice. We always have to keep a tender heart toward God and toward His people.

5. Believe that your time is in God’s hand. One time Dave and I were eating at a restaurant. Dave kept talking to the waiter, and I wanted him to just hurry up so I could get home. But when we were almost to our exit, there was a horrible accident. If we had been 45 seconds faster, we could have been right in the middle of it. I wonder how many times things aren’t going the way we want it to and God is actually saving our life.

Why Don’t We Believe? I think maybe sometimes we lose our belief because we ask God for something and don’t get it. But have you ever thought that maybe God didn’t want you to have that thing you asked for because He had something better ready for you?

Life is so wonderful when you can come to the point where you just know that if you didn’t get things the way you wanted, God has something different in store.

I want to encourage you to read His Word, find out what His promises are and then start to truly believe them. He will always do what He says…you just have to believe.

THE FAITH BEHIND FUZED WORSHIP

Ever had a dream in your heart that felt like it went all the way to the core of your being—like your destiny depended on it?

Sometimes the “dream” or the pursuit of our calling can become so big in our lives that it becomes an idol. It can take our focus off of the One who put the dream there in the � rst place.

That’s what happened to me.

See, I’ve been a musician all my life and even traveled with Joyce for about ten years, playing bass and writing songs. At that time, I wasn’t sure where my career was going. All I could think about was pursuing my childhood dream. So in 2004, I resigned from the ministry and went on the road with a rock band.

But God had something completely different in mind.

How God Put Me Back into His PlanTo make a long story short, the band thing didn’t last. I ended up having to humble myself by coming back to the ministry, asking for any position they would give me. They graciously let me work in the distribution department, and then offered me an assistant role.

I helped Daniel Meyer, our CEO, and Joyce with anything and everything they needed. Not exactly the “rock star” dream I had set out for, but I was thankful to be in the will of God! I knew He was after my heart, and I could sense Him fathering me through it all.

It was during those days that God asked me to do some-thing completely unnatural to me—fast music. For one year, I couldn’t sing a song or pick up an instrument or lead worship.

It felt like absolutely nothing made sense in my life. I even felt abandoned by God at times. And I would constantly wonder: God, why would you put all of this desire and passion for something in my heart and then refuse to let me live it out? And now you want me to fast music?

Then God gave me hope. He said, “Nate, just do what I’ve put in your hand. It will lead to what’s in your heart.”

Wow! What a relief that was! I didn’t have to strive and try to � gure out the plans of God anymore. I just had to do what He put in front of me.

A Very Unlikely Pair One Sunday afternoon, Daniel Meyer came to me with some lyrics he’d written about some of the hardship he’d seen around the world—and he asked if I could make a song out of them.

He wasn’t a musician. And although his whole life people had told him he should be a preacher like his mom, that just didn’t seem to be his thing. But he felt like he had a lot to say and this might be a way to express what was in his heart.

So as strange as it seemed, a guy who wasn’t a musician and a guy who hadn’t sung or touched an instrument in a year, started making music. That night we wrote our � rst song, “Revolving Love.”

Little did we know, God was setting us up for quite an adventure.

Grabbing Hold of God s̓ Incredible Plan After that initial session, we found ourselves � ooded with ideas. Before long, we’d written more than thirty songs—and a vision slowly began to take form.

Eventually, we came up with the name Fuzed Worship, which means to become united; blended together, creating a strong union.

It felt like what the church needed.

We honestly had no intention of connecting Fuzed Worship with Joyce Meyer Ministries. In fact, we made it a point to have no lofty goals at all. We simply wanted to write songs from our hearts to God.

But when Dave and Joyce heard some of our rough demos, they felt God wanted them to bring Fuzed Worship under their wings. It was God’s plan all along. We just never saw it coming.

So What s̓ in the Future?We’re determined to keep doing what God puts in our hands. At this point, Fuzed Worship has just released our second album, My Heart’s Cry—and we’ve been asked to lead worship for � ve Joyce Meyer Ministries Conferences in 2011. Aside from that, our lives are His—for His glory—and we’ll do whatever He puts in our hands.

“We’re here to stay,” Joyce Meyer shared at the opening of the St. Louis Dream Center on Sunday, October 28, 2000. Located in the heart of the 21st Ward—an area known for high crime, drugs and gang activity—Joyce Meyer Ministries is committed to seeing lasting change in this community through sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ.

The St. Louis Dream Center continues to help people in more ways than I can say. For ten years, a team of volunteers and trained staff has been reaching out to thousands in the inner city. While it’s a thriving, life-giving church and ministry center now, its conception was a little bumpy.

Before we opened the St. Louis Dream Center, Joyce Meyer Ministries operated a soup kitchen. We did a lot of good things to help the poor in that area. But after some time, we started to feel quite unsatis� ed with the long-term results we were seeing in the lives of those we were helping.

God soon showed us the missing piece. Even though we held daily services at the soup kitchen, we still were not able to see the full effects without a permanent local church.

Why I Didnʼt Want to Open a Dream CenterI distinctly recall a trip with my mom and dad in 1999 to the Los Angeles Dream Center. After she had preached in a very crowded gymnasium, we were given a tour of all the various ministries they were operating. On the plane ride home, she turned to me and said, “I want to start a Dream Center in St. Louis.”

For the � rst time in my career at Joyce Meyer Ministries, I looked at her and said “No.” I went on to list every reason I could think of: how much work it would be, how we didn’t have the personnel, how we weren’t properly equipped…

Being the wise woman she is, she didn’t argue with me. She simply said, “Okay.” I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking I had avoided the situation. What I didn’t take into account was someone else was pushing this idea—God!

Taking a “Blind” Step ForwardNot even a week had passed before God started to convict me and He clearly asked if I would do this for Him. So I was faced with a choice—I could be disobedient and miserable or I could choose “blind” obedience and be in God’s will. I stress “blind” because even though we had run the soup kitchen, I had absolutely no idea how to start a church.

So we prayed, trusted God and started taking steps to build a Dream Center in St. Louis. The � rst need was an adequate building. God provided the opportunity to purchase a fairly run down campus that was no longer being used. And it just happened to be in the most dangerous part of the city.

“Wanting nothing more than to be a blessing to others, we intentionally established the Dream Center in the 21st Ward because we want to make a difference in our own community—and we’re committed to being here long-term to help them improve their quality of life,” Joyce shared at a recent church service.

We put one foot in front of the other, hired like-minded staff and started meeting the needs of the poor—asking for nothing in return. It took a while for the neighborhood to trust our motives but love ALWAYS wins in the end.

More than thirty-� ve ministries have been established at the Dream Center to do just that. Here are a few…

Feeding and Clothing the PoorWhether it’s through our weekly food distribution outreaches, the DC Café or even our DC Grill—an oversized grill that travels to various locations providing free food—our goal is to share the love of Christ by supplying this basic need.

Also at the Dream Center is the New Image Clothing Boutique. It has the appearance of a regular store—without the price tags. Thousands of out� ts are distributed each year. This ministry is blessed with a constant � ow of dona-tions that can be given to those who cannot afford clothing.

Helping Men Break AddictionsIn 2005, we opened the Genesis Men’s Home and within forty-eight hours we were at full capacity. Donald, one of our � rst residents, was addicted to crack cocaine for twenty years and on the verge of losing his family. After coming to the Genesis Men’s Home, God restored his life and set him free.

The men commit to a twelve-month stay in the Genesis house, where they get immersed in God’s Word, learn life skills, and break free from addictions. Thanks to this ministry twenty-four men have been fully transformed by God and are changing the world through their testimony.

Reaching the ChildrenTeaching the basic truths from the Word of God through hands-on expe-rience and simple lessons is having a tremendous effect on the development of our children in this area. We are reaching children through KidzJam church services, home visits, character assemblies at local schools, Sunday school classes, after-school tutoring and more.

Taking It to the StreetsThrough the homeless ministry at the Dream Center, we are providing hot showers, clothing, haircuts, meals and the Word of God. On Friday nights, we head out on three different routes throughout the city where we seek to build better relationships with the homeless.

Educating Future LeadersIn 2008, the Dream Center partnered with Pillsbury College & Seminary to offer a fully accredited ministry degree program. Ministry Academy is a vehicle through which we can

disciple local young men and women, training them to be leaders within their own community while providing an attainable biblical education. We believe this to be yet another key to community transformation!

(Blantyre, Malawi) – Kondwani can’t hide it. He hobbles around, body enfolding over his too-short crutch. Even when seated, his inward-twisted foot is readily noticed—a stigma in a sub-Saharan country where even mild ailments are widely viewed as super-natural curses. He can’t play. He can’t go to school. He can’t do much of anything.

At age � fteen, Kondwani’s life has been de� ned by disability.

You see, in Malawi, Kondwani’s clubfoot condi-tion is just the beginning of his problems. The cultural perspective of his supposed curse has changed the course of his entire family.

Clubfoot Causes Further ProblemsThat’s where Stewart Palmer, with his mild British accent, enters Kondwani’s story.

“That’s what [many] don’t realize, coming from outside the culture, you think, ‘Oh, we’re just � xing a physical disability.’ But that’s the tip of the iceberg.”

Palmer is the executive director of CURE Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi, overseeing the hospital and the clubfoot program. Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions, partners with the hospital to provide � ve clubfoot surgeries each month.

“People call clubfoot a life-limiting condition [because] you can’t die from it. But that’s a very beguiling term because it covers up the depth of pain and suffering that will happen.

KONDWANI (ken•dwa•nE)For the last fi fteen years, Kondwani has lived with the condition called clubfoot—a congenital deformity where one, and more frequently, both feet are turned inward at the ankles. Treated early and easily in developed coun-tries, the same deformity is considered a life-limiting con-dition in the country of Malawi, where one in every 500 children is born with clubfoot.

What clubfoot does to a person is it removes choice. It removes opportunity. And often it drains you of hope for the future.” And that’s exactly what happened to Kondwani.

When Kondwani was born, his father left out of superstition and shame. Later, his mother passed away from the effects of AIDS and this past fall, his only sister died at the hands of a witch doctor. When the dust � nally settled, Kondwani was left a homeless, crippled orphan with a younger brother to care for as best he could.

But he couldn’t make a living because he wasn’t able to work the land to gather enough food for himself and his brother. Disrespected and ignored because of his clubfoot, he couldn’t attend school and most people wouldn’t even talk to him. His younger brother Zefania became his provider, doing what he could to get by.

Kondwani s̓ Hope for HealingKondwani’s situation is all too common in Malawi. One in 500 children is born with clubfoot. These children with feet twisted and turned, if left uncorrected, will never walk correctly—or never walk at all. But the good news is that CURE Hospital is making an impact on the lives of those affected.

While the process takes time and parental involvement, the staff works with the entire family through education and spiritual guid-ance. The hospital is committed to healing the child physically as well as educating and spiritually engaging the family.

It’s such a simple solution that makes an impact on the child as well as the entire family. Kondwani and Zefania heard of the clubfoot program through a mobile medical clinic and traveled the 200 miles, hoping to receive help at the hospital.

Sharing God s̓ Word Through the Healing ProcessAt CURE, counselors pair with the families during treatments, dispelling superstition and shame, and sharing the love God has for them.

“Everyone is part of it—cooks, cleaners, anyone will pray and share scripture and support,” Palmer explains. This has been their mission since the hospital opened in 2002.

The weekly process involves repositioning and recasting their feet—heavy white booties that keep them immobile for a short while, but enable them to walk the rest of their life. After their feet are recast, the family meets with their counselors to talk through the daily struggles they are experiencing, reinforcing clinical education and spiritual truths.

Thanks to the partners of Joyce Meyer Ministries and the staff at CURE Hospital, Kondwani was able to have the surgeries he needed to correct his clubfoot and will begin this very process. And he wasn’t the only one…

Treating Babies Before They Can WalkJust one day after arriving at CURE, Innocent lies on a cot a few feet away from Kondwani. At seven months old, she just started her treat-ments and will be wearing her new casts full time for the next several months. Then she will progress to nighttime leg braces and then…that’s it…she’ll be done.

Every week CURE Hospital staff perform dozens of clubfoot treatments—mostly on infants like Innocent, correcting their feet before they can even walk. As the children age, the pain and complexity of the corrective procedures increase. Every month the part-ners of Joyce Meyer Ministries provide clubfoot corrective procedures for � ve children.

While Kondwani required two operations, for most children, the recasting process is all it takes to make a dramatic change. For Innocent, bits of cloth and plaster will transform her ability to walk. And the education and spiritual guidance will be a lasting investment for her entire family.

Kondwani will leave the hospital in a few days. He dreams to farm but � rst, wants to � nish school. His brother has promised to help him. They have a long journey ahead of them but both are hopeful—and grateful that someone cared enough to help him.

If you didn’t live through it, you probably didn’t hear a lot about it. To be honest, many of us were paying more atten-tion to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

But do you remember the Nashville � ood?

Tennessee took a major hit. Thirty counties were declared national disaster areas—and twenty-three people lost their lives. The entire city of Nashville � ooded in a matter of minutes when the Cumberland River levee gave way on Monday, May 3, 2010.

Ripped up railroad tracks, submerged interstate systems, and sinkholes the size of semitrucks helped tell the story of how hundreds of thousands of Tennesseans were instantly uprooted from their homes and businesses.

Looking at the damage, it was easy to feel overwhelmed, hopeless and afraid. Estimated � ood damages quickly rose beyond $2 billion in Nashville alone.1

But when our staff visited the city just days after the � ood, we noticed something peculiar. We saw survivors standing strong in faith—serving one another with Christ-like love and compassion.

THE RIGHT WAY TO DEAL WITH DISASTERWe saw neighbors comforting neighbors and local churches dispatching � eets of volunteers to do what you do after a � ood—give hugs and help “gut” people’s homes. Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions, and our partners were able to share in their solidarity, simply by sending funds. In total, we gave more than $40,000 to train and mobilize volunteers and help stabilize homes.

By the end of May, one of our partner organizations, Service International, had helped hundreds of displaced families return to their homes. In a single month, they’d managed to mobilize and train nearly 2,300 volunteers, who removed exterior debris from 815 properties, gutted 78 homes to their studs, and treated 80 homes for mold.2

Most of the volunteers were local.

“The people of Nashville are amazing,” said Ed Fasnacht, Director of Field Operations for Service International. “Local communities are coming together and working very hard—and so much has already been accomplished. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

“We’re honored to be partnering with Joyce Meyer Ministries to help bring hope to the people of Nashville.”

THE PEOPLE WE’LL NEVER FORGETAmong those trained by Service International were volunteers from Cross Point Church in Nashville. While canvassing the devastated River Plantation subdivision, they met a single mother who changed the way they’d look at the � ood forever.

Surprisingly, this twenty-something single mother showed more concern for her parents’ salvation than for the condo she’d just lost in the � ood.

“I’m more exited about this than anything else that’s hap-pened in a long time,” said Leslie, who explained her parents had � own in from California to help her through the tragedy. “I’m hoping when they see that churches here are taking care of people, they’ll come to know Christ.”

“Angels” from Oasis Church in Nashville became Jesus’ hands and feet to forty-� ve homeowners, a preschool and two local churches. Hundreds were touched by their sel� ess desire to help…in any way possible…with a smile.

When � ood waters started lapping against the siding of her family’s two-story home, Pam Stahl told her kids to collect their treasures and run upstairs. Later that day, � re� ghters showed up with orders to evacuate.

When the Stahls returned home two days later, it was hard to know what to do or where to begin. But it was obvious God was looking out for them.

“I’d been home thirty or forty minutes and was worn down emotionally,” Pam said. “Right then, a couple dozen volun-teers came up and said, ‘We’re here. Where’s the mess?’

“You never dream that you’re going to go through something like this,” she said. “You always look for ways to help other people when they’re going through a hard time. So it’s real different to be on the receiving end. It’s been incredible.”

Every time they needed anything—trash bags, gloves or whatever—someone would walk in their door and ask, “What do you need?”

The positive spirits of the volunteers have helped keep Pam smiling and her spirits lifted, she said. “They keep telling us, we’re going to get through this and it’s going to be better than before. And I believe them.”

T hey say it takes a village to raise a child. Well, that may be true, but in Haiti, this statement is also true: It

takes a village to heal and regain hope. That village is called Miracle Village. And it couldn’t come any sooner.

For the past seven months, approxi-mately 380 Haitian families have been living in tents on the property of Love A Child, our ministry partner in Fond Parisien, Haiti. But they are about to have a brand-new start at life—and a brand-new home.

Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions, is sponsoring the � rst two phases of construction of Miracle Village for these survivors of the January 12 earthquake.

The First Completed HomeOne of those survivors is Fracimene Saintvil. She, along with her seven children, will receive the very � rst home. It will be a bittersweet welcome because over the past seven months she has endured pain like most of us could never even imagine. See, on the day of the earthquake, her oldest daughter was cooking while holding her baby sister, Marie Ange, when things got ugly.

The shaking became so violent that Marie Ange slipped out of her sister’s arms and into the boiling water, severely burning her face, neck and chest. Furthermore, over the scream-ing of her precious baby, Fracimene faced another problem: Her husband was missing. She had a gut-wrench-ing choice to make: search for her husband or � nd help for her baby.

Unfortunately, she never found her husband. They suspect he is buried in one of the mass graves at Titanyn. But she and her family—seven children and an eighth on the way—ended up at the Love A Child � eld hospital. Fortunately, they now live in Miracle Village.

Family Sees Home for First TimeWe had the opportunity to show

Fracimene and � ve of her children the new home they will soon be moving into.

“I knew they’d be happy, but this kind of joy was beyond my wildest imagi-nation. To see those children jumping into the beds and pretending to eat and drink at the table really touched my heart,” shared Sherry Burnette, cofounder of Love A Child.

For Fracimene and the other families, it’s more than just a home—it’s a fresh start. But it’s also a sense of safety and security because many Haitians are still afraid to live in a cement home for fear of another earthquake. These homes, however, are built out of something else.

After a lot of research, Love A Child found the strongest wood possible to withstand hurricane winds and made it termite proof. So, not only will these homes handle whatever nature throws at them, but Fracimene can also know that she and her children will have a home for years to come.

“We Decided to Build 50 More”David Meyer, CEO of Hand of Hope initially committed to funding the construction of � fty homes. That seemed like a good place to start. But on our trip, after seeing the quality construction of the homes, he com-mitted to another � fty, promising to paint and furnish them as well.

“As accountability to our partners, we wanted to start with only � fty homes. I wanted to come and see it, but just as I expected, the homes were so well built that we decided to build � fty more. We are so excited for the day

when all of these families get to move in,” said David Meyer.

Throughout Port-au-Prince and the sur-rounding communities, many are still living in makeshift tent cities. It’s hard to know how these people will make it. But we do know that as we all work together, we can begin to see greater change in the lives of those in Haiti.

When all hope is lost, people need a miracle. And for each family who gets a new home at Miracle Village, they get just that. But this would not have been possible without you. And remember: The more we partner together, the more people we can reach—helping those who are suffering and reaching them with the life-changing love and Gospel of Jesus Christ.

TThe Bedouins of Algeria are 1.4 million strong. They live in portable tents covered with goat hair. They have little food and often live in unhealthy conditions. They are 100 percent Muslim. No Christians. No churches. No mission-aries. No gospel. No Jesus. Meanwhile, God has saved you and me by his grace. He has not only given us knowledge about Christ, but he has also given us the presence of Christ and the promise of Christ to provide us with ev-erything we need to take the gospel to them. Now imagine what it would be like to look into a pair of Bedouin eyes and for the � rst time introduce this person to Christ.

This is a cause worth living for. It is a cause worth dying for. It is a cause worthy of moving urgently on. We have the gospel of Christ in us, and we do not have time to waste. Some wonder if it is unfair for God to allow so many to have no knowledge of the gospel. But there is no injustice in God. The injustice lies in Christians who possess the gospel and refuse to give their lives to making it known among those who haven’t heard. That is unfair.

God s̓ Will for You—and Everyone ElseI � nd it interesting that one of the most common ques-tions asked today among Christians is “What is God’s will for my life?” or “How do I � nd God’s will for my life?” Many Christians have almost assumed the attitude that they would obey God if he would just show them what he wanted them to do.

What Is God’s Will For My Life?

In the middle of a Christian culture asking, “How do I � nd God’s will for my life?” I bring good news. His will is not lost. With 1.4 million Bedouins in Algeria who have never even heard the gospel, it makes little sense for us to sit over here asking, “What do you want me to do, God?” The answer is clear. The will of God is for you and me to give our lives urgently and recklessly to making the gospel and the glory of God known among all peoples, particularly those who have never even heard of Jesus.

The question, therefore, is not “Can we � nd God’s will?” The question is “Will we obey God’s will?”

How Will You Respond?Will we refuse to sit back and wait for some tingly feeling to go down our spines before we rise up and do what we have already been commanded to do?

Will we risk everything—our comfort, our possessions, our safety, our security, our very lives—to make the gospel known among unreached peoples?

Such rising up and such risk taking are the unavoidable, urgent results of a life that is radically abandoned to Jesus.

DEARFRIEND,God’s changed me a lot over the years. He took a hurting person and transformed me into a vessel of His love and mercy.

See, He just loves to make things new.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (NIV).

I lived for years with the assumption that when bad things happened to me, God was behind them as a way of pun-ishing me, which wasn’t true at all.

I needed to take another “look” at His love.

So I dove into the Word and began to discover that having a ful� lling relationship with God really was possible. I also started to see how He was transforming my old pat-terns of thinking, giving me a new outlook on life.

I want you to hear what I’m saying: As a believer, you are not just forgiven of your sin—you are also empowered to overcome sin, and out of this freedom comes the capacity for you to enjoy an incredible life!

These colors represent the power and promise of what Jesus has already done for you.

I encourage you to continue to “look” at God’s love for you, symbolized by the white, yellow and red. It will help you defeat any old patterns of negativity, anger, pride, and fear.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve just given your life to Christ or if you’ve walked with God a long time. This is your moment to leave your past behind and step into a whole new way of life.

This means you will have to stop listening to the enemy’s accusations.

The Bible calls Satan a liar and the accuser of the brethren (see Revelation 12:10). In order to � ght against Satan’s accusing words, we need to keep renewing our mind with the truth of God’s Word.

Romans 12:2 exhorts: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will (NIV).

The end result of what I’m talking about won’t bring a slight change in your life—it will create a whole new you! That’s the power of being renewed God’s way.

Dave and I want you to take hold of the truths found in God’s Word. As you do, you’ll realize He has so much more for your life—more of His goodness, His purpose and His power to experience more of what you were created for.

Because so many of us are visual thinkers, I think one of the best ways to teach on this subject is with colors…not just words.

I’ve found it to be an easy way to remember the three most important things that have enabled me to walk in victory. I hope it will help you remember the blessings God has given you.

White (God’s cleansing and purity) represents the Word of God. The Bible gives you truth to combat the lies of the enemy and experience freedom in your life (see John 8:31,32).

Yellow (God’s presence and glory) represents the Name of Jesus. Jesus’ name is more powerful and life-giving than any other name in heaven or on earth and is the source of your victory (see Philippians 2:10,11).

Red (God’s incredible sacri� ce) represents the Blood of Jesus. Jesus paid the ultimate price to give you freedom and abundant life so you’ll never be separated from God again (see Romans 5:6-11).
