He was born Feb. 8, 1931, in Chenault, Ky., the son of the late John Morgan and Lula Alice Prather Arnold. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Lula Mae Poole, Belle Bennett and Nana Lee Arnold; brothers, Willie Earl “Boots” Arnold, Leon, Robert and Elmer Arnold. He is survived by his children; Ruby Mae Hall, Wolf Creek, Ky., Victoria Sue (Glen) Wyatt, Brandenburg, Joseph Bruce (Denise) Arnold, Hardinsburg, Lisa Gail Arnold, Louisville, Nathan (Elizabeth) Arnold, Guston, Ky., Travis Aaron (Amanda), Brandenburg and Joseph Daniel Arnold, Lodiburg; 10 grandchildren; many great- grandchildren and his loving companion of over 27 years Janet Smith, Lodiburg. He retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education as Custodian at Milner School in Union Star, Ky. He loved to hunt and farm. He retired from the United States Air Force and was soon to retire from Louisville Metro EMS. He also enjoyed traveling around the world with his wife. Cremation was chosen following Larry’s wishes. It is the com- mand Jesus gave to his dis- ciples just aſter he had taken a few fish and a couple loaves of bread and fed thousands. Had you ever considered that this may have been the first advertisement for recycling, sharing or not wasting? In Jesus’s time there were many poor, the same for today. He was aware that the poor struggled for food daily, the same for today. His greatest desire was to provide Minister’s Corner for the poor daily, both for their physical and spiritual welfare; is that not why in the prayer he gave us that he includes giving daily bread? Since he would not physically be with us very long he knew that his body, us, would need to perform the miracle of feeding the poor. Could that not be one of his messages to us by the command to gather the fragments? Isn’t he tell- ing us that in order to feed the hungry of the world that it only takes a few fragment from each of us? So the next time we have a meal and are scraping up the leſtovers, may it be a reminder that those few fragments would feed some hungry family in our com- munity or around the world. May it also be a reminder for us to give regularly a frag- ment of what we have to a local food bank or food drive at church or in our commu- nity. If we all practiced giving just a fragment of what we have to the poor; we could feed them all! Wouldn’t that be a miracle! So the next time we have a meal and are scraping up the leftovers, may it be a reminder that those few fragments would feed some hungry family in our com-munity or around the world. May it also be a reminder for us to give regularly a frag-ment of what we have to a local food bank or food drive at church or in our commu-nity.

If we all practiced giving just a fragment of what we have to the poor; we could feed them all! Wouldn’t that be a miracle!
