JOSE MARIA GONZÁLEZ VÉLEZ

As president of APPA, Gonzalez Vélez is member of the Agents' Committee of the Market, of the Consultative Council of the CNE, vocal adviser of the Governing Council of the CIEMAT, member of the Council Adviser of the Regional Entity of Energy of Castile León (EREN), of the chapter of Electricity of the Spanish Club of the Energy and of Energies without Borders, between other institutions.Person from Madrid, Jose Maria Gonzalez Vélez initiated his professional activity in the banking until twenty years ago he gave a radical draft to his professional career on having created Hidronorte, today Hidroenergías Xana, a company dedicated to the project promotion of renewable energies. Since then Gonzalez Vélez has been employed actively at the sector of the renewable energies, so much as promoter as active participant at the associative world, up to managing to turn into one of the most representative voices of the sector.
