Team Finland – EBRD - contracts What is Team Finland? How to partner with EBRD? How to win contracts?
“Tools and networks for the international success of
Finland and Finnish enterprises”– The network brings together the services of the state-
financed actors advancing the internationalisation of Finnish enterprises, foreign direct investments in Finland and Finland’s country brand.
– The network approach intensifies and harmonises the use of public resources promoting export and investments, and enhances the quality of services available to customers.
– The Government steers the Team Finland network and draws up strategic guidelines for the network every year.
“together we are greater, we benefit from one another’s strengths for the benefit of Finnish companies”

Team Finland history in brief
– The idea of creating the Team Finland network first surfaced in the early 2000s. At that time it was realised that Finland’s success depends more than ever on companies’ international success.
– Important steps in the network’s creation were taken in the early 2010s. In 2011 the objective of strengthening activities on behalf of external economic relations and pulling Finland’s international activities together was recorded in the Government Programme.
– Studies initiated on this base provided the foundation for Team Finland’s operating model.
– Team Finland activities were launched in September 2012.

Advantages 1. State-financed activities to promote the
internationalisation of enterprises, investments and country brand without overlapping work are more effective and more consistent.
2. Services in the sector are grouped together, making it easier for enterprises to find them. What’s more, customer service is of higher quality when services are provided together.
3. One-stop principle applied, companies can contact the network by calling the service number or by submitting an online contact request.

Procurement opportunities, most in the countries of operation, some in the HQ
- Start following EBRD procurement notices – goods, works and services - and sign up for email updates.
- Start tendering, your company will be recognized and strengths better known
- Welcome to contact HQ but client company and EBRD regional office are more often the ”right address.”
- Should I pay a visit to the HQ and leave a brochure? Maybe, but is your visit related to a particular project or focus area of the Bank?
- Consider possibilities subcontracting for a well known provider to the Bank projects.
