Dai Pai Dong is a type of outdoorrestaurant which originated in HKsince the 18th century. They arecharaterised by the use of foldingtables and chairs on the street. Theyearned their reputation by servingunbeatable prices for noodles,rice, congee dishes. Most of therestaurant started as an unlicensed

business on the sidewalk nearschools and residential areas, andslowly developed their businessinto ne restaurants.

This is the Living room interiordesign I chose for my Computeraid design class midterm. Itincludes the idea of a continuousshelf from the television extendingall the way around the back of sofa for electronic appliance andor other decorative items. It also

includes a balcony with a niceevening view and an elevateddinning area.

The cafe and theatre designis based on abstractingPablo Picasso's Ma Jolie.Dividing the Ma Jolie into 25rectangles and my favoritepieces will be recreatedinto sketches and sculpturalmodel by applying a simplearchitectural program.

I created this potrait chair basedon Gandhi's personal character.He led India to independenceand inspired movements forcivil rights and freedom acrossthe world. The initial sketcheslook like a hand, whichcharacterizes Gandhi's strength,leadership, and courage.
