JOINING OUR PARISH We welcome all who seek a spiritual home in our Catholic community. Introduce yourself to the pastor and he will help you join our parish. If you are not baptized, or are baptized in another Christian tradition and seek full communion with the Catholic Church, consider the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults process. It begins with inquiry sessions in which you can ask questions and discuss issues with other seekers. The process continues with opportunities for learning and spiritual transformation. The RCIA also serves baptized Catholics who did not have the opportunity to receive Holy Communion and Confirmation. The Director of Religious Education will help you start. COFFEE & CONVERSATION What do you do between dropping off and picking up your children for religious education? On Sunday, February 9 you won’t have to drive home or to the nearest coffee oa-sis. Light refreshments will await you at 8:15 am in the St Pius house kitchen and at 9:45 am in the rectory (house) at Montdale. Conversation focus will be “It’s OK if Your

Kids Have Questions.” Shannon Kowalski, diocesan Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministry, will be here to help start the conversation. While your kids are in class, join a few other adults to enjoy coffee (or tea), pastry, and conversation!

HOPE & PEACE MISSION

Queen of the Apostles Parish (715 Hawthorne Street, Avoca) Hope and Peace Mission is February 8th and February 9th. Marty Rotella will integrate his gift of music with a unique preaching style at their 3 Weekend Masses. The date of the drawing is March 22, 2020 Everyone’s support is essential to make this major fund raiser a success for our parish.
