As a Full Member your ANSP is automatically a Member of CANSO’s three Global Standing Committees. To take full advantage of CANSO’s networking and knowledge sharing opportunities, it is strongly recommended that your organisation participates in these Standing Committees and their workgroups. These bodies bring together subject experts and leaders to share and develop CANSO’s global policy positions, best practices and guidance materials. All ANSPs are welcome to participate free-of-charge. For more information please contact [email protected]

Full Membership is open to all air navigation service providers regardless of legal status. Air navigation service providers which are integrated into government structures and departments are eligible to join.

Once your organisation officially joins CANSO, it can also elect to become a Regional Member. In addition to the global Member benefits, your organisation can participate in regional activities, such as workgroups, projects and events. A regional contribution would then apply. For more information about Regional Membership, please contact our Region Directors.

GLOBAL MEMBERSHIP FEES AND REGIONAL CONTRIBUTION

The membership fee for an individual air navigation service provider comprises a global membership fee and, if applicable, a regional contribution.

The global CANSO membership fee is calculated on the basis of ATM related turnover of the applicant air navigation service provider.

Annual ATM turnover refers only to the annual revenue collected from air navigation charges (en-route, approach and/or aerodrome). This excludes non-ANS airport charges such as parking and passenger charges.

A regional contribution represents a Member’s share of a region’s annual budget and will be explained by the relevant Region Director during the membership application process. Contact information for the Region Directors can be found below.
