OUR research: Addressing Local RelevanceAchieving Global Impact
We preserve HERITAGE through TECHNOLOGY.
Bantay Wika ProjectWe developed a database of Filipino words and applied a blend of linguis-tics, engineering, and other sciences to enhance mother tongue-based multi-lingual education.
We enable INFORMEDDECISION-MAKING.
PHL-MICROSATIn partnership with univer-sities from Japan, we are developing the Philippines’ first microsatellite, enabling access to real-time data for decision-making in disaster risk reduction management (DRRM), weather forecast, resource mapping, food se-curity, agriculture, defense, and many others.
We promote ENERGY EFFICIENCY.
Rapid Electric Vehicle Charging- Charging in Minutes (CharM)Recognizing the gov-ernment’s call for clean-er and more efficient vehicles, we developed a fast-charging system for electric tricycles, which aims to enhance the continuity of e-trike operations in the coun-try by reducing the charging time in no more than 30 minutes.
SmartWire ProgramWe are developing smart wire technology for innovative smart grids of the future.
The first prototype of the SmartWire sensor node.
The 65nm CMOS integrated sensor node includes an inte-
grated PLC transceiver and a 6-bit SAR ADC, both powered
by an internally regulated 0.5V supply harvested from
the power distribution lines.
epossibilities.
