Summer Join us this summer for our series of dynamic educational workshops for ages 4-12. Working in small tutorial style groups of 2-5 children encourages collaborative thinking and creativity to flourish. Holiday Workshops “A perfect mix of serious teaching, playful games and things that were just fun to do” Shaking up Shakespeare! Putting new twists on the classics, we link Elizabethan life to modern day Hong Kong to introduce Shakespeare to students from young to old. Rhyme and Reason Do all poems have to rhyme? Can a poem be a square? What is a poem for? Join us on a journey of discovery as we look at limericks, haikus and sonnets from across the ages and work out what poetry really is. Stories of the Ancient World Join us as we travel back to the world of the Ancient Greeks and Romans for this dynamic story workshop, looking at the myths and legends of the age. Once Upon A Fairy Tale Inspired by beautiful princesses, talking frogs, fairy dust, knights in shining armour and evil warlocks, this magical creative writing workshop will spark your child’s imagination through fairy tale writing. Hot off the Press! Join the hustle and bustle of the British Tutors newsroom and transform into real life reporters and editors in this newspaper workshop. Philosophy: The Big Questions What is truth? What is the difference between people and animals? Do we have a responsibility for the world? Get your child’s brain flexing in this thought-provoking workshop looking at the big questions of our existence. Our workshops will be taking place at our Sheung Wan office but home based workshops can also be arranged.
