Celebrate Recovery–A ministry to help individuals and family members deal with hurts, habits and hang-ups. As a participant in Celebrate Recovery you will be involved in a discipleship ministry that teaches biblical truth and life application so you can live out your life as a follower of Jesus and manage the daily pressures of life. Celebrate Recovery meets in the Worship Center for worship
and teaching followed by small-group opportunities every Tuesday night from 7:00–9:00 PM. If you are looking to grow in your personal relationship with Jesus and address life issues then join us on Tuesday night.The Landing–An intentional and purposeful discipleship ministry for students in 6th–12th grade that meets every Tuesday night from 7:00–9:00 PM in Kid’s Worship located in the main building. This ministry provides students an opportunity to develop life skills, and make decision that are biblically sound and Christ honoring. Students and Parents, if you are look-ing for more in life, The Landing is the place to begin that journey.Parents, Grandparents and Guardians of students in the 6th–12th grade you have anopportunity every Tuesday night to come and learn more about The Landing by attending an orientation designed just for you. You can also participate in Celebrate Recovery while your students are involved in The Landing and develop skills to help with life choices and be discipled through the ministry of Celebrate Recovery.

COMMUNITY NEEDS for the NEW YEAR
Samaritan Center Food Bank containers will be located in the foyers of our church for your donations through January 18. They will receive, process and distribute the dona-tions from our members to provide for the hungry, homeless and destitute people who qualify. Please donate items from the following list: FOOD: hot cereals (grits, oatmeal, etc.), canned fruit, canned or powdered milk, peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti sauce (ready to pour) PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS: deodorant/antiperspirant, shampoo, bar soap, toilet tissue, tooth brushes, tooth paste

The Response is a day of prayer and worship at the Pete Maravich Center in BatonRouge, La. A chartered bus will leave FBC parking lot at 8:00 AM and return after the event concludes. Join us for a new semester of Bible Skills, Drills & Thrills and Answers: An Apologetics Class for Kids! Bible Skills, Drill, and Thrills offers K-6th graders a unique mix of activi-ties that will help build strong Bible skills, strong life application, and a strong founda-tion for Bible drill while they develop lasting relationships with other children and leaders in a fun atmosphere. Answers for Kids is a discussion-style class for 4th-6th graders that seeks to equip children to respond to challenging questions about their faith and turn them into opportunities to share their faith and the Truth of God’s Word. Children’s Choir will resume on Sunday, January 18 at 4:00 PM.

NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM FIELD TRIP ~ Saturday, January 17 ~ Gather in the parking lot of the Mandeville Winn Dixie at the foot of the Causeway at 9:00 AM to car pool. SINGLE MOMS SEMINAR (Reservations Needed) Saturday, January 24 ~ 8–11 AM FBC Kids Worship ~ Inviting all Single Moms to participate in this enlightening time together. Breakfast will be served. Martha Bailey will inspire us and Kristen Prestenbach will share financial tips with us. We’ll enjoy music together with the children and possibly have a couple of surprises to end the morning.
