Agenda/Content Description• Monologue – Character will speak from the perspective of a victim of dating

violence• Introductions – Presenters introduce themselves and their agencies• Education – Statistics, Signs of healthy vs. unhealthy dating relationship,

description of power and control, dating violence (emotional, physical, sexual abuse)

• Media Examples – Yeardly Love, Natalee Holloway, etc. Will allow students to connect the issue to real people and see consequences and red flags.

• Monologue Character returns for question / answer period – will allow girls to ask questions of the character to understand how they could help as a bystander.

• Bystander Intervention Training – Tools and skill building on how to recognize red flags and appropriate ways to help a friend in need.- video clips; dialogue training; scenarios

• Final Q&A• Evaluation
