JOIN THE JOURNEY WITH AFRIKO! If you have ever wondered about being part of a unicorn team, AfriKo might be the right choice for you. In startup world, ‘unicorn’ is a company valued at over $1 billion. We like to think of AfriKo as a non-profit unicorn - though we haven’t reached that value yet, the organization is growing exponentially. We are a research and consultancy centre busy making and analysing unexpected connections between Lithuania and African countries. Our most recent achievement - Digital Explorers initiative - facilitates relations between Lithuanian and Nigerian ICT sectors. The EU’s funded pilot sets a stage for creating career enhancement opportunities for Nigerian tech developers through work placement in Lithuanian ICT companies. Team unicorn needs some support in developing our organizational practices that would lead AfriKo to maturing into innovative, productive & sustainable organization. We are therefore looking for curious & analytical minds (with a background in organizational psychology or similar fields) to assist us in this journey. INTERNSHIP -ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT & PSYCHOLOGY Your role In this role you will work directly with AfriKo co-founders on internal project(s) contributing to organizational development. More specifically, your tasks will include: • analysing of best as well as decidedly unconventional organizational practices that help to generate innovation, improve decision-making, team members’ well-being, performance evaluation and similar (specific focus will be given to innovative tech companies & startups); • evaluating & facilitating workshops with the team about application of above-mentioned practices in AfriKo; • documenting chosen practices and developing their implementation processes & routines; • assisting in identifying and documenting AfriKo’s key organizational culture attributes (and their practical manifestations)..
