Strategy for 2014

• Continue work on the Re3gistry• Work on validation/conformance testing• Address some small missing items

• Focus on our core task to help implement INSPIRE in a ‘reusable’ way The ‘Re3ference Platform’

Goals

• Gather and share details about needs around existing and new tools

• Go beyond simple lists to have demos and tutorials explaining how to use them

• Help countries benefit from each other’s investments and identify partners (demand and supply) for further work

• Show how INSPIRE can be re-used and extended in e-government, e.g. for Open Data & its portals

• Engage stakeholders in order to have a sustained activity- we start today!

The Live3Tutorial - ‘lifting the lid’

• Providing guidance on how to use various tools Installation and configuration in typical/basic

organisational settings Multilingual where appropriate (or supporting this via the

crowd/community discussion)

• Using real data: Select cases, creating an entire implementation of

INSPIRE using various tools Going further by making some data available as RDF Illustrating steps towards the conformity/interoperability

of tools and discussion points for the e3xpo• Keeping it open… For maintenance and the inclusion of other outputs from

ARE3NA, EULF and others

Stakeholder engagement

• Across these elements there is a need for stakeholder engagement and promotion aiding the sustainability of the activity, in general assessment of any potential business models, in

particular

• The ISA SIS Working Group Identifying need (Yes) Formation and promotion Initial governance body advising JRC on development decisions/requirements contributing to review and testing

• The e3xpo as a ‘shop window’ for tools and apps what would be useful, what are the pitfalls?
