Clement parish community the following child who was baptized here this weekend:

ANTHONY GIOVANNI DIMATTEO Child of Rebecca & Giovanni

OUR LADY OF GUADELOUPE TORCH This weekend St. Clement will receive the Our Lady of

any other illness or circumstance, have died. On Tues., Nov., 24th we will join in partnership with

the Cardinal Newman Council of Knights of Columbus at St. Clement Church and will spend an hour of

devotion to our Lady of Guadeloupe in the church beginning at 7PM. Please plan on joining us.

GIVING TUESDAY On Dec. 1, 2020, Catholic schools from across the

Diocese of Trenton are participating in Giving Tuesday, the global day of charitable giving that follows

Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday is a day of charity that fosters connection and generosity which helps you bring real change to your community. 100% of the monies raised through this

campaign will go directly to the Catholic school that you specify in your donation. Help support our Catholic

Schools this Giving Tuesday by sharing your resources; a donation to the Catholic school of your choice, pledging to volunteer your time at a school, or sharing a prayer in

support of Catholic education! Visit www.LeadinFaith.org to learn more and show your

support!

BLOOD DRIVE-MONDAY, DECEMBER 14TH The Cardinal Newman Council of Knights of Columbus

at St. Clement Church will host a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross inside the

Gym from 2-7PM. The Red Cross is following stringent health and safety precautions and all social distancing

measures will be in effect. Blood is urgently needed right now during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can book

your appointment now online at www.redcrossblood.org. Just look for St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church and

the date.

GIVING TREE 2020 Our annual Giving Tree program will

be done a little differently this year due to the virus. We will be asking for gift

cards for all the organizations that work with us. Gift cards from the following would be greatly

appreciated; Kohl’s, Target, Walmart, Ulta Beauty, Old Navy, The Children’s Place, Barnes & Noble, Amazon,

Walgreen’s, CVS, Dollar Tree, Dunkin Donuts, Shop Rite and Stop & Shop. We do ask that you let us know

the value of the gift card by attaching the receipt or writing on the card itself. Card donations will be

accepted on the weekends of November 21/22, 28/29 and December 5/6th. Gift cards can be dropped into the

collection baskets at all Masses and during the week at the church office. Your continued enthusiasm and generosity for this program, especially during this

pandemic, is greatly appreciated!

PARISH POLICIES

Parish Registration… In order to be recognized as a practicing member of the Parish, it is necessary to be registered and show your presence and support by attendance at Mass, and also through the regular use of Church offertory envelopes. If you are new to the area and have any questions regarding Parish Registration, please call the Parish Office (732-566-3616). We are committed to serving the pastoral and spiritual needs of our parish, and we ask your prayers, and your commitment, to help meet this goal.

Weddings…Please call the Parish Office one year in advance of desired wedding date, BEFORE completing any other arrangements (reception hall, etc.). Weddings are celebrated only for members who have been registered with St. Clement for at least one year. The Wedding Liturgy should be planned with care and interest. On that day you celebrate the beginning of your life together, united to each other and Christ in the Sacrament of Matrimony. This Sacrament is very important and should be given the central focus on this very special day. The following practices are not done at St. Clement: the lighting of the Unity Candle, and the presenting of flowers…this is not part of the Roman Rite. We also ask that flower girls and ring bearers be no younger than 6 yrs.

Baptisms…The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the third and fourth Sundays of each month (except during the season of Lent) at 12:15PM. Arrangements must be made in advance. Prior to the birth of your first child, attendance at the Baptism Preparation Class is mandatory for parents; sponsors/godparents also are encouraged to attend. Classes are held in the Church at 7:30 P.M. For more information, call the Parish Office.

Sponsorship…In order to be a sponsor/godparent for Baptism or Confirmation, a person must have received all Sacraments through Confirmation; be at least 16 years of age; be married in the Catholic Church; attend Mass faithfully…also be a registered, actively participating parishioner for a minimum of six months.

FINGERPRINTING: Parish volunteers that need to be fingerprinted can obtain the Registration Form on the Religious Ed. Website. Go to www.stclementPREP.com and click on the tab for Downloadable Forms to print this document.

PLEASE LET THE PARISH KNOW IF YOU HAVE A CHANGE OF ADDRESS OR PHONE NO.

BEFORE MASS BEGINS, PLEASE TURN YOUR CELL PHONE OFF.
