Plant Floor User Interface is a software based work order and maintenance program.
• “A”: Curriculum is driven by the PowerPoint presentation and supplemented by instructor led live labs in the program. “B”: A participant guide based on slide presentation allows for hand written notes to be inserted by learners.

Lean Manufacturing Comparisons
• Turn of the century manufacturing practices at the Ford Rouge facility are compared to the 21st century standards at the Ford Dearborn Truck Plant.
• Project called for 4’ X 7’ mounted posters for placement in team room areas of new plant facility. This includes the public access areas of the plant for public tours.
• Digital photography, customized graphics and design were implemented as well.

• Produced and instructed one-hour safety refresher course with the inclusion of the 5-S lean manufacturing principles used within Ford Motor Company assembly plant.
• Produced and instructed 4 hour curriculum for TEM/PFUI (Total Equipment Management & Plant Floor User Interface) at Ford Motor Company Dearborn Truck Plant. This is a software based work order management and plant maintenance system.
• Designed and developed instructor curriculum, student guides and slideshow presentation for launch of plant software and intranet network within GKN plant and offices. Implementation of this system allows accessibility of real time data from plant floor to multiple computer kiosks.

• Efficiently and effectively identified and integrated the multiple needs of senior management and engineering personnel, along with trades in a major Ford Motor Company Transmission plant for Mapal tooling machines. Project included an in-station step by step manual and a series of train-the-trainer seminars which standardized the operation of the tooling machine in accordance to Ford and Mapal guidelines.
• Analyzed the capabilities and features of existing tooling and parts ordering guide to incorporate color coding, graphics and product photography for better identification of parts and error-proofing of the ordering process.
• Developed interactive slideshow presentation overview for manual paint spray gun operators. Project utilized animation and video to reinforce operator instruction sheet information, including tips on safety, maintenance, quality and application of paint in prime, base and clear- coat areas.
