CORPORATE CONFESSION

Heavenly Father, please forgive us for our failures to love. We confess that we have failed to love you or walk in your ways. We confess that we have been preoccupied with ourselves and have failed to love our neighbors. We confess that we are more concerned about the appearance of being right than we are about showing mercy to others. Please forgive our wayward hearts and empower us to love others as we have been loved.

SILENT CONFESSION

Because we

believe God

initiates with

sinners, we begin

worship

with His Word:

His invitation to

us to gather in

His name.

THE LORD ’S PRAYER

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever. Amen.

ASSURANCE OF PARDON Isaiah 43:25

We confess our sins to God because we have a sure promise that He will forgive us all our sins through Jesus Christ. God’s Word says, “I, I am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.” Thanks be to God for His full and free forgiveness in Jesus!

DECLARATION OF FAITH APOSTLE’S CREED

I believe in God the Father Almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth:

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;
