• We have an All Ladies Golf Outing coming up September 18th

• On September 19th, we are sponsoring the Annual Air Explorers Scouts Luncheon. The

keynote speaker will be the President ofthe Intrepid Musemn.

Mike Bednarz from the Port Authority:

• We are wrapping up the joint survey that was conducted with the NYC Economic

Development Corporation and looking at the recommendations.

New Attendees were iutroduced

Joe Pesce:

• The KAAMCO Cargo Operations Committee Fishing Trip will be on August 9th. Flyers were

available at the meeting

• The Parent KAAMCO Golf Outing is on July 16"'.

• Ifyou have equipment behind your building that does not belong to you, please send me an

e-mail and I have no problems contacting the owners, which is often appreciated as you

cannot be expected to know where your equipment is at all time. 1 compliment AAL 1made a

call about a piece of equipment behind OUT building it was picked up in less than 1 hoUT_

• Bob Caton brought up the problem Rudy Ruthman had: When he called the Port Authority

to have abandoned equipment, that did not belong to him, seized; he was told that he would

have to pay the towing fee. Don Rivas replied that due to budgetary limitation the port could

not pick up the cost because there is no guarantee that the equipment will be claimed by its

owner and the fee reimbursed. We could look at the issue once again and see if we could find

a solution.

• Jacques sends out the monthly FaD reports issued by Mauri from the Ground Operations

Committee. There has been deterioration in the condition and cleanliness oframps at various

buildings. Please take a look at your ramps and facilities and take corrective action. You will

also see on this report notes about abandoned equipment on various locations.

Joe Pesce adjourned the meeting. Ifyou have any questions please contact me or the Committee
