PURPOSE STATEMENT This is a Jointly Provided virtual symposium hosted by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and Boston Children's, planned to offer the practicing pediatrician an opportunity to learn about recent advances and state-of-the-art diagnoses and therapy for common problems encountered in daily practice. At the completion of this symposium, pediatricians and other pediatric health care professionals will have enhanced their skills and competence in patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills and systems-based practice. TARGET AUDIENCE The program is designed for pediatricians, Family Practitioners, Pediatric Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatrics.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the completion of this symposium the participants should be able to:

1. Enhance clinical competence and performance by applying knowledge on current pediatric diagnoses and treatment.

2. Implement updated pediatric guidelines 3. Discuss current challenges to improve pediatric patient care.
