Why would anyone want to spend time with me?

I wish I wasnt alone all the time.

Who can I talk to

No one will believe you

Youre useless

No one likes you.

SPACE/AUDIENCEPractise performing our images and text in different positions. Facing different directions and imagining the audience in different places to experiment which is most effective. Actors in centre, audience in circle surrounding us. Fairly effective but difficult to ensure whole audience can see what is happening.

Actors on stage, audience directly in front works well but predictable and not original.

Actors stay still, audience walk around to see each part of the action would be effective if there were more of us.

Actors on stage, audience in semi-circle. We felt this worked best as it provided a more intimate setting and we hope it will make the audience feel more affected by the performance.

GESTURENumber ourselves 1-4 and take it in turns to come up with a gesture related to words chosen by each other in relation to the picture we were given. We each came up with various gestures.

Including: turning back to othersreaching arm outputting head in hands. Curling up into a ballArms folded

IMAGEShout a word and we get into an image together showing that word. We got into images as follows

Amy on floor cleaning, Josh, Vicky and Hannah looking down in disgust.

Vicky, Josh and Amy walking away pose, Hannah alone looking sad.

Vicky, Hannah and Amy sat in a group, Josh sat with his back turned to them.

Vicky on floor looking miserable, Hannah, Josh and Amy pointing and laughing at her.

Amy curled in a ball, Vicky, Josh and Hannah looking menacingly at her.

SOUNDTake it in turns to say a word and then as a group take turns to make the sounds associated with that word. Using silence to show isolation.
