In January, I attended the New Year -New You party with my friends. We played bingo and we did crafts. My favorite part was when we counted down from 20 at 11:59 in the afternoon. At noon we shouted “Happy New Year”. It was a fun day and I loved seeing my friends. ~Susan

When it snows outside, bowling with

friends is always fun. We arrived safely

and lit the lanes on fire. We were happy

to go out in the community despite the

Mel Tillis passed away on Nov. 19, 2017 at the age of 85. He was best

known for his songs "Detroit City" and "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to

Town.“ He is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the

Grand Ole Opry.

Great afternoon spent with friends at Phillips Recreation Center. Today, was

open gym and we played volleyball, basketball and even some badminton. My

friends at Zone28. I was so lucky to

have so many people join. There was

over 20 of us and everyone had fun.

After we were done, we had lunch at

Once a month we all get together for “Kraft’s with Kristy”. On this day, in Februarywe created three different crafts. All three had to do with Valentine’s Day. First, wemade a heart out of foil, then a puppy dog with hearts, and lastly we made cardsfor our loved ones and friends. It was a great day and we look forward to nextmonths crafts. Rocky & Rodney

I had the most amazing time at Prom. From my beautiful dress to the limousine ride to the dinner and dancing. I would love to go again someday.

Hi! My name is Missy. We went to the

Science Center all day for my birthday. My

friends came and sang happy birthday to

me. They gave me tons of stuff. We had

pink and red cupcakes and played a game.

We had a scavenger hunt where we had to

find things on the paper. The robot sang

happy birthday to me and my staff, Jody.

Then it clucked like a chicken! Jody and I

are birthday buddies. I had a great

Today, my staff Brittany showed me the

Colony Cafe. It is a coffee place with a cat

loft above it. My friends, Aundrey and

Lucy met us there and we played with the

cats. I drank my favorite Chai latte. I got

to pet eleven different cats. My favorite

one was an orange color cat. He was nice.

I'm happy I got to go. I would like to come

The prom “A Night to Remember” on Friday, February 9th was very nice and very busy. I went to get my hair done first then I had to come home and take a nap. I don't know what time it was, but, I was rushing around to get ready. Then my Mom, brother and his wife were taking photos of me before I left the house. When I first walked in everybody was complimenting my dress. Then somebody wanted to take apicture with me. I then walked down the red carpet. That’s when I got more compliments on my dress again. After dinner they had to see who was going to win. They were showing videos of who was going to win but I did not understand what they were doing. Then we got on the dance floor and had a good time. The dance floor was pretty small. “Eh, what are you going to do?” This is something I say when I am only kidding around. When it comes to using that phrase, I wouldsay I know that I get it from my Aunt Tilly and Uncle Pete. They said it all the time.
