Milone & MacBroom, Inc. has an opening for an entry-level Geotechnical Engineer at our Cheshire, Connecticut, office.

Responsibilities: As a Geotechnical Engineering Graduate, you will be responsible to assist with the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans for designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical aspects of construction. The geotechnical engineer must be able to perform field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects. Qualifications:

The geotechnical engineer should possess a strong technical education and professional demeanor. A desire to learn is essential for this position.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical specialty desirable

0-2 years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred Possess reliable transportation to travel to job sites and a valid driver's license

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Prior engineering internship or one to two years’ experience Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment Excellent written and communication skills required
