1/1 – Job Opportunity : HSE Manager JOB OPPORTUNITY 1 September 2016 Health, Safety and Environment Manager You will be reporting directly to the Country Manager and will be assigned at the Sodexo On- Site Services Philippines, Inc. Head Office. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure legal compliance with existing and proposed legislation Establish a strong link with Operations and HR to ensure effective management of workers’ compensation claims Participate in operation meetings Prepare a monthly report for Quality Assu- rance and Customer Relations Manager re- lating to costs, accidents, incidents, and claim activities Participate in the review process of annual improvement of HSE plan Set up educational programs and cam- paigns to promote safety culture at work and environmental awareness and effec- tive HSE strategies for management Participate in HSE audits by external ins- pectors Ensure all accreditation activities are achieved within budget and time frame Contribute HSE articles to Company’s re- gular communications and publications Establish safety committee and conduct monthly safety committee meetings to solve any occurring safety issues and im- prove safety in premises and work Act as an Occupational Health (Ergonomic) & Safety representative for the company Deliver training presentations to operatio- nal teams and contract managers, as ap- propriate Train and coach unit managers, chief engi- neers, and HSE representatives on site to perform risk assessments PROFILE Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a re- levant Occupational Health & Safety or re- lated discipline Experience in development, implementa- tion, and management of projects Working knowledge of the statutory requi- rements and their applications in Occupa- tional Health & Safety Thorough knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation Knowledge of government agencies and key stakeholders framework Highly developed communications skills in- cluding verbal, written, and formal pre- sentation Facilitation, training, and coaching skills HOW TO APPLY You may send your application to 11/F Lepanto Bldg., 8747 Paseo de Roxas, Makati City or email us your resume at [email protected].
