Progressive Number: 1 Position/Job Activity: Logistics Co-ordinator Pipes/Materials/Personnel Professional Role: Logistics Co-ordinator Department: Operations Logistics Reports To: Logistics & Operations Manager Primary Objective: To ensure the necessary logistics support to Company operations, site personnel, equipment and services, planning support and local management of operations base, personnel and activities for the operations season. Responsibilities: Assist with Project logistics planning and support layout Overall co-ordination of onshore Operations, in liaison with Logistics & Operations Manager, Barge Superintendents/ Captains and other Departments, of the logistic activities to support all offshore construction operation activities in compliance with corporate policy and procedures. Fuel co-ordination & supply Co-ordination of support vessels, anchor handling tugs, pipe carriers and cargo barges. Co-ordination of internal rented equipment. To set up and run all temporary logistics support bases and pipe loadout requirements to suit offshore construction operations in line with Logistics & Operations Manager Instructions To implement all logistic activities in relation to Port Authorities, Customs, Port Agencies and other subcontractors/third parties. To co-ordinate proper and safe transportation of personnel and clients/ subcontractors either by helicopter or support vessel as required from logistics support bases to offshore and vice versa. To ensure the proper communication/co-ordination between Logistics Base Materials Coordinators / Senior Logistics Coordinator for all support vessel movements. To oversee the proper use of PTS in accordance with Company Procedures when Pipe Tally is required for specific Projects. To carry out the proper inspection on acceptance of all Client furnished materials and pipes in compliance with project specifications and corporate procedures. To verify and check, in liaison with the Finance, Administration and Control Department, all invoices of subcontractors and services placed under this management, together with the distribution of proof of deliveries of all materials procured by the Procurement Department in transit offshore via the support bases. Any additional duties within own experience and capability as advised and agreed by Department

Head/Supervisor.

To become familiar with and to maintain awareness of current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.

To ensure that all activities are carried out in manner consistent with policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures.

To ensure his / her own safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
