2016 USA Men’s U17 Training Camp2016 USA Men’s U17 Training Camp• Seven-time USA gold medalist head coach Don Showalter, who in 2015 coached the USA

to a gold medal at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship, will return for his eighth-straightsummer with USA Basketball as head coach of the 2016 USA U17s. Also selected to remain on staff after assisting the 2015 USA U16s to a gold medal and a berth in the2016 U17 World Championship are prep head coaches Miles Simon (California SupremeAAU) and Sharman White (Miller Grove H.S., Ga.).

• Three-time U17 World Championship gold medalists, the USA will look to defend its titleJune 23-July 3 in Zaragoza, Spain.

•  Training camp to determine the 12-member USA squad will be held June 11-22 at theUnited States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

• Athletes eligible for this team must be 17-years-old or younger (born on or after1/1/99) and U.S. citizens.
