Announcements:

Money Matters! educational conference is Monday October, 17 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Festival. Many training sessions are related to investing and retirement planning. Other topics include budget plan-ning, credit scores, home buying, the Employee Assistance Program, and resources for veterans. These seminars are open to all full-time and part-time employees. Registration is through JMU Talent Develop-ment. You must register for each session individually and need only register for those you want to attend. The Employee Assistance Program is a service offered to employees and their dependents through their state health plans. It provides up to four sessions at no charge for such services as mental health, alcohol or drug abuse assessment, child or elder care, grief counseling and legal or financial services. Please visit the Employee Assistance Program site for more information.

Little trick-or-treaters from the children’s program at Anthony Seeger will be visiting both floors of the University Services Building on Friday, October 28. Three sets of children will coming at the following times: 9:45 - 10:15; 12:15 - 12:45; 1:45 - 2:15. Some of the children have egg and nut allergies. Have your candy ready if you plan to participate!
