Project Chennani - Nashri Tunnel Project Jammu & Kashmir This project is the India’s longest road tunnel project which includes 9.2km tunnel

which connects Chennani and Nashri in the National Highways of Jammu.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for the erection of the form works. Preparing the Daily Progress Report. Handling a team of 100 members for the erection of various form work. Responsible for the quality specifications in relation to the drawings. Responsible for the quality of the form works at the manufacturer end. Responsible for the safe work environment. Ensuring the maintenance of the Gantries after the concrete pouring. Consulting with the expats for the safe operation. Responsible for raising purchase requests based on the material requirement.

Herrenknecht India Pvt Ltd, Chennai (May’12 – Sep’14)

The Herrenknecht group, with its head quarters in Schwanau, Germany consists operationally of Herrenknecht AG, acting as the parent company, and 65 subsidiaries. Herrenknecht India manufactures Tunnel Boring Machines for Metro Rail Projects in Asia. This includes 18 machines were operated in India, and also manufacturer of various Form works for Tunnels and different Airport Projects.
